BIOGRAPHY:
The Artist Commonly Known As Sonny Bo.

Recently adopting the moniker “The Bonafide,” Sonny Bo is a well-recognized underground figure in the San Diego music scene. From his early underground releases in 2001-03 (Underground Vol 1 & 2) as well as a widely accepted duo with Steve Hartman of The Batkave, entitled the H2Bo, Sonny Bo is a solidified figure with a notable street buzz. Raised in the Skyline community of South East San Diego, growing up to see the becoming of local legends, pimpin', dope dealing, and gang bangin was a common occurrence. What set him apart from the average youngster growing up in the same conditions was, music was in his blood. The youngest sibling to another San Diego legend, producer Ajamu, Sonny Bo began to nurture and polish his talent at a young age, performing at talent shows at the tender age of 9. Up to date Sonny Bo has regained momentum by releasing one of San Diego’s hottest mixtapes “ Mack 2 the Future”. As well as releasing "The Instruction Manual, a sequel to the Mack 2 The Future entitled "Mack 2 The Future Part II". The str8 to download Ep entitled "P For Pres II" and a group album with fellow Duece Five artist/CEO Skywalk & Mac Boo Rue(a promising artist hailing from the Bay area) called "The League- Neighborhood Starz". Currently working on a solo project produced by The Batkave, Sonny Bo has noted, “This is just the beginning. I recently fell in love with being an artist again. I had my fair share of dealing wit the ill’s of the music industry, and that left a bad taste in my mouth. Now I just enjoy making music that all my folks can relate to. We’re building a brand, DueceFive.biz/Knock You Off Muzik! I plan to be able to live comfortably off of doing what I love to do.”
